Showers no longer play second fixture to the bathtub. New designs and materials are making shower areas the star of the bath. One of the trends for shower enclosures is to eliminate the door using a wet space large enough to contain the water. Another trend for today's showers is to make them large enough to accommodate two people at the same time and include multiple shower heads. (Ooo-la-la!) The hottest material in baths today is glass, the innovative swirled door in particular is proving most popular.. Today's showers are not just for getting clean anymore. They can be multi-media recreation areas with steam, a waterfall effect, car stereo, and double shower heads.
